The wife and went to see Gov't Mule at the Fillmore this past Saturday night. Sort of a last minute decision, but I hadn't been to a show since Halloween, so I was due. Overall, a perfect evening. We found "on street" parking three blocks away, the search to get in was minimal, good music, & I ran into a guy I went t school with at Front Range. Great Success! Jam-rock may not be your thing. Maybe better, sold out shows at The Fillmore in Denver may not be. Or maybe the waft of marijuana and sweaty, aging hippies may not be. But it is hard to deny just flat out good music.
